As the use of virtual learning grows across SREB states – many postsecondary institutions have raised questions about the proper procedures for reporting distance learning programs to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Especially since the addition of CS 3.12.1 to the Principles of Accreditation in 2006, there has been heightened awareness of the need to report substantive changes in distance learning (and other) programs in a timely manner.
